BraveWords Records Announces the Signing of Chris Slade and His Band THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE

TORONTO, CANADA (March 20, 2024) -- BraveWords Records is excited to announce the signing of THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE. Look for THE CHRIS SLADE TIMELINE to release their first title for BraveWords Records in 2024. "Metal" Tim Henderson from BraveWords Records talking...

BraveWords Records launch with global PR and distribution networks set to not only be fully competitive with the current label marketplace but to exceed it, we want to work with both established and exciting new artists as they plan the next stage of their careers.

Where do labels, promoters, agencies, and artist managers come when they want to advertise and promote their festivals, tours, new releases and lifestyle products? BraveWords…

What if you were part of the BraveWords family of artists and this promotion and visibility was already right here at your disposal for your release?

There is a serious void which desperately needs to be filled, hard-working and creative bands that have yet to find a partnership and a mutual vision with a professional team. The music-fuelled minds behind BraveWords Records have built the ultimate home for an artist that will take you where you want to be.

Collectively, with nearly 100 years of music industry experience under our belts, the BraveWords Records team will take care of all the crucial aspects of your project from global distribution (digital and physical), publicity and media coverage (web, radio, visual), social media blanketing and streaming opportunities (such as Streaming For Vengeance). Where most labels have forgotten the concept of actually marketing a release sensibly, BraveWords Records will construct a viable and comprehensive marketing plan, including visibility at BraveWords.com, which attracts nearly 3/4 of a million visitors monthly.

“For decades we’ve seen thousands of bands get misguided, mismanaged and mistreated,” says BraveWords Records President “Metal” Tim Henderson. “We intend to respect the artist and their passion to create. We will walk with you and work with you to help achieve all your goals.”

BraveWords Records has all senses on high alert as the music industry continues it’s never-ending transitioning, so the artist will always be aware of new opportunities to build their brand and strive for world domination.

BraveWords will also have a focus on licensing film and TV content, both contemporary and retrospective across many genres. As artists and labels transition to the many new mediums available today for their work, BraveWords intends to stay ahead of the curve in providing and actively seeking opportunities for our roster of clients.

“And this is not a one-off venture; like you the artist, we are in this for the long-haul as our resumes exhibit. We won’t give up on you. There will be an extensive action plan before and after your release that will be acted upon and accounted for. Your success is our success.”

Jay Gilbert

GILES LAVERY

Giles has been involved in many aspects of the music business for many years. Starting out in music retail in 1994 he has worked his way up to managing many successful international acts, overseeing and co-ordinating numerous major catalog reissue projects, regular podcasting, A&R for Global Rock Records (who last year were acquired by one of the largest re-issue labels in the UK) and a songwriter & musician himself, Giles is familiar with all aspects of the music business. Giles is also very passionate about Film & Televison, in both preserving classics of the past, uncovering forgotten gems, exciting new ventures as well as music placement in film.

BRIAN ADAMS

Over the years he began as an agent, then manager with artists such as Rick Wakeman, Denny Laine of Wings, to name a couple before entering into the record label and International licensing side of entertainment. The culmination of both entities saw him working alongside some of the world’s major artists with Eagle Rock Entertainment for 16 years such as The Rolling Stones, Queen, YES, Deep Purple, Dio, and dozens of others while developing his own label (The Store for Music) and catalogues which he recently sold on to a bigger UK label. While planning to semi retire he was approached by BraveWords to head up the new venture as chairman alongside Giles, but the temptation was far too strong to resist working alongside these guys from the forefront of the global social media & promotion premier league.
