BraveWords Records is pleased to announce the signing of DAVID REECE for a new BANGALORE CHOIR studio album, to be released in 2026.
David Reece comments on signing with BraveWords Records, “I am joining the BraveWords Records family for the release of the new Bangalore Choir album! I see BraveWords Records doing great things and I know that the team behind Bangalore Choir there will work tirelessly for this next phase of the band. I meet many Bangalore Choir fans while playing my live shows and see the response in the audience to such classics like Angel In Black, All Or Nothin, Just One Night and I feel this new album represents what them and I feel to be what Bangalore Choir is all about.”
Giles Lavery, BraveWords Records A&R, “Signing David Reece to BraveWords Records marks a new and exciting chapter in my longtime friendship with this great artist and singer! David and i have been friends and worked together a long time, through many ups and downs… One of those ups was seeing him on numerous major festival stages around Europe in the last few years as a sober, clear-headed and well-focused man, one of those lows was quite some time ago in the previous decade after a no-filter and “to the point” heated exchange between us, where we both ended up in a near brawl with each other in a UK Holiday Inn on the 3rd floor at 2am — so who says this isn’t a full contact sport?! Needless to say, our friendship has survived all that and more… David and i continue to be honest with each other and we are both pulling no punches on delivering the best album he has done in many many years. I feel the new upcoming Bangalore Choir album is one of his best yet, we got about halfway on the last record to that “On Target” sound, but with this new one i can say that we have hit the mark for real… It’s 1992 all over again!”
David Reece will be hitting the road later this year supporting Girlschool and his BraveWords Records label mates Alcatrazz. David Reece’s Bangalore Choir will deliver a blistering set of hits from both Accept and Bangalore Choir, showcasing one of the most distinctive voices in heavy metal.
This tour is also the debut of his relaunched version of Bangalore Choir

About DAVID REECE:
American singer David Reece first came to international prominence in the hard rock community joining Accept in 1987, replacing the iconic Udo Dirkschneider. With Accept he released the “Eat The Heat” album in 1989, a record that while somewhat divisive within Accepts more die-hard European fanbase, has no shortage of acclaim in equal measure from the wider hard rock and AOR community. David’s voice was a perfect fit for both the more streamlined American heavy rock direction the band wanted to pursue at the time and the Heavy Metal stylings that are still found in great abundance on the record. Thus, songs like Generation Clash and XTC fast became staples of late 80’s rock radio and fan favorites to the present day.
After departing Accept in 1990 David wasted no time in forming Bangalore Choir, a band that would showcase his immense vocal talents combined with first rate songwriting. Released via Giant Records in 1992, the bands debut album “On Target” has become an album held dear to lovers of melodic heavy rock the world over. Timing being everything, sadly the change of radio programming toward the then emerging Grunge movement halted a very promising young band from making the global impact it very well might have had if the album had arrived some years earlier.
David has gone on since to front many bands such as Bonfire, Wicked Sensation, EZ Livin’ and more recently Iron Allies, but he has always felt there was unfinished business with Bangalore Choir, revisiting the project with the occasional release….which brings us right up to date, the latest Bangalore Choir album … Its title a guarded secret at this stage. Needless to say, if you wanted more of what you loved about “On Target” this one will truly hit the mark.
